

Apparently these buildings are part of Cabrini-Green, a chicago public housing development built during 1950's urban renewal efforts.
Its interesting to think that the goals of these buildings are the often the same as those replacing them today.
Hopefully we can get it right when we tear them down again in 50 years...

I find it so intriguing that we continually invest resources into building new, particularly with so much unused stuff around us - whithering away - and with the allocation problems we've created in our greed.
